The best Condeco alternatives in 2026 (now Eptura Engage)

Modern office building with glass windows against a blue sky

By Clearooms · Published · Updated

Condeco is now sold as Eptura Engage. The most common alternatives are Clearooms, Cloudbooking, deskbird, Envoy, Kadence, Matrix Booking, OfficeSpace, Robin and Skedda. Which one fits depends mostly on how you want to pay (per user or per desk), how big your estate is, and whether you buy through G-Cloud.

Competitor facts checked 6 November 2026 against each vendor's own website, G-Cloud 15 listings and review sites. We make Clearooms, so we've linked our sourced comparison for every tool.

Quick answer

Tool Best for Pricing model
Clearooms Desks, meeting rooms and parking at a published price, with SSO and integrations on every plan Per desk, room or parking space; unlimited users; monthly rolling
Cloudbooking Large NHS and public sector estates Per desk, falling at volume; annual contracts
deskbird Hybrid scheduling and attendance policies Per active user, from 25 users
Envoy Visitor management first, with desks and rooms alongside Platform fee plus each module
Kadence Getting teams in on the same days Per active user, annual contract

Is Condeco still available?

Effectively, yes. In October 2022 Condeco merged with iOFFICE + SpaceIQ to create a new company, Eptura, and the Condeco booking product is now sold as Eptura Engage. Existing Condeco customers are on Eptura Engage, so "Condeco alternative" and "Eptura alternative" mean the same thing for desk and room booking.

Why organisations look for a Condeco alternative

  • Per-user pricing. For organisations with more users than desks, per-user pricing can cost more than paying per desk or room. Engage charges for every user, however many desks and rooms you have, and is billed annually.
  • Quote-only pricing and long contracts. Pricing is by quote only, which makes it hard to compare costs when you're researching suppliers. Engage is billed annually in advance, and its G-Cloud 15 listing (through reseller JLL) has a 3-year minimum term.
  • Features on higher tiers, and paid extras. Intelligent booking and natural-language search for workspaces are only on Engage's top Power tier, and screens, kiosks, badge-swipe check-in and implementation services cost extra.
  • Support and an outdated interface. Since the merger, reviewers on G2 and Capterra have raised concerns about support responsiveness, an outdated admin interface and bugs in the Outlook add-in.

When staying with Eptura makes sense: for large multi-country estates that want sensor-driven occupancy, wayfinding hardware or the wider Eptura portfolio (Archibus, Serraview). Engage is a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Workplace Experience Applications. If that's you, test support on your renewal before deciding.

9 Condeco alternatives compared

The tools are listed in alphabetical order. We make Clearooms, so we've linked our sourced comparison for every other tool.

1. Clearooms

Best for: organisations of any size, from a single office to multi-site estates of 500+ desks, that want desks, meeting rooms and parking at a published price.

Clearooms is priced per resource (desk, meeting room or parking space) rather than per user, so the cost doesn't rise with the number of people who book. SSO, SCIM and all integrations are included at no extra cost, including Paxton Net2 and Salto access control, and every customer gets a dedicated Customer Success Manager.

Worth knowing: fewer enterprise space-planning tools, such as scenario planning and move management, than Robin or OfficeSpace, and no occupancy sensor product (utilisation comes from bookings and check-ins). See Clearooms pricing.

2. Cloudbooking

Best for: large NHS or public sector estates, with per-desk G-Cloud rates that fall at volume, a dedicated NHS room service, 24/7 phone and chat support and occupancy sensor integration.

Worth knowing: plans are billed annually and renew automatically. SSO isn't on the smallest plan, and Active Directory and SCIM, ServiceNow and extra floor plans after deployment cost extra. Clearooms vs Cloudbooking.

3. deskbird

Best for: hybrid scheduling: weekly office-day preferences, hybrid work policies with attendance tracking, a long list of HR system integrations and sensor-free occupancy data.

Worth knowing: priced per active user from 25 users, with SAML single sign-on, SCIM, HR system sync, room kiosks and visitor management as paid add-ons. Clearooms vs deskbird.

4. Envoy

Best for: when visitor management is the centre of your requirements: badge printing, and on its top plan ID scanning, blocklist screening and guest Wi-Fi integrations, plus separate modules for deliveries and emergency notifications, and access control integrations.

Worth knowing: a platform fee on top of each module, and contracts that renew automatically. Clearooms vs Envoy.

5. Kadence

Best for: getting teams in on the same days. It suggests which days each team should come in, checks people in from the office network through a desktop agent, and adds space planning through its SpaceOps product.

Worth knowing: priced per active user on an annual contract with a one-year minimum. Clearooms vs Kadence.

6. Matrix Booking

Best for: public sector estates buying through G-Cloud, particularly ones that want to share space across government organisations, where its Government Hubs capability stands out. It works with 100+ public sector organisations, is a certified B Corp, and supplies and manages occupancy sensors.

Worth knowing: pricing is by tailored quote; its G-Cloud rates are public. Clearooms vs Matrix Booking.

7. OfficeSpace

Best for: large estates that need space management first: block and stack plans, scenario planning, move and asset management, CAD floor plans, and connections to sensors, badge systems and ServiceNow.

Worth knowing: a demo-led sale, with a platform fee plus per-employee pricing on request. Clearooms vs OfficeSpace.

8. Robin

Best for: organisations looking for portfolio insights. A Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Workplace Experience Applications, with scenario planning, move management, sensor integration and an AI analytics assistant.

Worth knowing: pricing is tailored and billed annually, with the AI analytics assistant, custom reports and workplace services (such as catering and AV requests) as paid add-ons. Clearooms vs Robin.

9. Skedda

Best for: governance around bookings. Its rules engine (quotas, conditions, approvals and permissions) is very granular, it offers 24-hour support and floor plans designed for your office.

Worth knowing: priced per space and billed annually, with the full rules engine and API access (in beta) on its Premier plan. Clearooms vs Skedda.

Switching from Condeco: what to check first

  1. Your renewal date and notice period. Check when your contract is due for renewal and how much notice you need to give. That gives you time to run a free trial of the replacement and set it up before you renew. Clearooms has a 30-day free trial with every feature included.
  2. Your meeting room screens. Check who owns your meeting room displays and whether they'll run another supplier's software. The Clearooms Display App runs on iPad, Android tablets and ProDVX panels.
  3. The cost of integrations. Check which integrations you need and whether they cost extra. Clearooms includes SSO, SCIM, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and access control (Paxton Net2 and Salto) on every plan.
  4. Floor plans. If the software needs floor plans, check what you already have. If you don't have plans you can use, check whether the supplier will draw them for you and how quickly. Clearooms creates a first draft in 48 hours.
  5. Your booking data. Ask Eptura for an export of your past bookings and utilisation data before your contract ends, so you keep it for reporting.

Switching supplier can be quick: Collinson Group went live with Clearooms across 12 offices in nine countries in a single weekend.

Condeco alternatives FAQs

  • Is Condeco the same as Eptura?

Yes, for desk and room booking. Eptura is a newer name: it was created in October 2022, when Condeco merged with iOFFICE + SpaceIQ, and the Condeco booking product is now sold as Eptura Engage. Visitor management is a separate Eptura product.

  • What are the best Condeco alternatives?

For desks, meeting rooms and parking at a published per-desk price, Clearooms. Matrix Booking and Cloudbooking suit UK public sector estates buying through G-Cloud. Robin and OfficeSpace suit large estates that want portfolio insights and space planning. Kadence and deskbird focus on hybrid attendance, Envoy is strongest on visitor management, and Skedda on detailed booking rules.

  • Is there a cheaper alternative to Condeco?

For most hybrid offices, a booking platform that charges per resource (desks, rooms and parking) works out cheaper than per-user licensing. See our Clearooms vs Eptura comparison for a worked example of 500 staff sharing 150 desks, using Eptura's G-Cloud 15 figures.

  • Do Condeco alternatives work with Outlook and Microsoft Teams?

Yes, most do, but check whether it's included or an extra cost. Some suppliers put Outlook or Teams integration on higher tiers or charge extra for it. In Clearooms, meeting room bookings sync both ways with Outlook, and the Outlook and Teams integrations are included at no extra charge.

  • How do I switch from Condeco?

Start by checking your contract for your renewal date and notice period. If you have meeting room displays, check who owns them and whether they can run other software. Then start a free trial and run the two systems side by side, using the trial to set up your floor plans and booking rules so the switch goes smoothly.
