Clearooms vs Cloudbooking
Cloudbooking is a London-based workspace booking platform with a strong UK public sector following, sold on its own website and on G-Cloud 15. Below, we compare it with Clearooms on how each prices desks and rooms, what's included and what's an add-on, as well as contract terms. We make Clearooms, so we've linked a source for every fact about Cloudbooking and dated when we checked it.
The short version
Clearooms is built for organisations of any size, from a single office to multi-site estates of 500+ desks.
Choose Clearooms if you want desks and meeting rooms at a published price with SSO, SCIM, Teams, Slack, room displays and the REST API included on every plan. You also get monthly rolling billing with no minimum term, Cyber Essentials Plus, Paxton Net2 and Salto door access, a dedicated Customer Success Manager for every account and a self-serve 30-day trial, from £60/month.
Consider Cloudbooking if you're a large NHS or public sector estate: its G-Cloud 15 per-desk rates fall as low as £14 a desk a year for 5,000+ desks, it has a dedicated NHS room service, offers 24/7 phone and chat support and integrates with VergeSense occupancy sensors. Budget for annual contracts that renew automatically, and for SSO set-up, integrations and floor plan changes charged as extras.

The pricing difference: plans, per-resource rates and extras
Cloudbooking sells two ways. On its website, plans are capped by users and desks and billed annually. On G-Cloud 15, public sector buyers pay per desk, room and parking space with unlimited users. Clearooms publishes one per-desk and per-room price list for everyone, with unlimited users.
Take an office of 120 people with 40 desks and 4 meeting rooms that wants SSO. On Cloudbooking's website that needs the SMB plan, because Micro has no meeting rooms or SSO and stops at 80 users: £299 a month billed annually, or £3,588 a year. Clearooms costs £95 a month for 40 desks plus £10 a month per room, £1,620 a year billed annually or £1,788 on monthly rolling billing, with SSO, SCIM, Teams and room displays included.
G-Cloud is where Cloudbooking is most competitive. Its per-desk rate falls from £20 to as low as £14 a year at large volumes, so for a big estate buying mainly desks its framework price can undercut ours. Rooms cost more (£180 to £200 a room a year at small volumes, compared to our £120), and set-up, SSO and Active Directory work, floor plan creation and training are charged at £500 a half day or £1,000 a day.
So compare totals, including the meeting rooms, add-ons and professional services days you'll need, and remember Cloudbooking's contracts renew automatically for 12 months unless you give 60 days' written notice.

- Cyber Essentials Plus: held by Clearooms; Cloudbooking's G-Cloud 15 listing answers No

- Smaller offices with meeting rooms: rooms from £10 a month each, with no user cap

- 24/7 support: phone and web chat around the clock

Worth knowing: for a large estate buying mostly desks through G-Cloud, Cloudbooking's framework rate can be lower than ours. Some Clearooms reviewers would like more integrations beyond calendars, Slack, Zapier and door access, and we don't hold ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification ourselves.
