Paxton door access for booked meeting rooms
For meeting rooms with a Paxton reader, the door opens for anyone holding a valid booking for that room, and their arrival can register as a room check-in. Rooms stay secure without anyone having to find a key or ask reception to let them in.
Map Paxton doors to your Clearooms offices
Connect each Paxton door to the Clearooms office it serves. Shared entrance? Map more than one office to the same door, so someone working across several floors is only checked in once a day. People are matched between Net2 and Clearooms by email address, and anyone who doesn't match can be paired by hand.

Which version of Paxton Net2 does Clearooms work with?
Paxton Net2 version 6.0.2 or above. If you're on an older version, update Net2 first and then connect it to Clearooms.

Does Clearooms work with Paxton 10?
No. Paxton 10 doesn't have a public API for Clearooms to connect to, so the integration works with Paxton Net2 only.

How does Clearooms know who has badged in?
People are matched between Net2 and Clearooms by email address, so make sure each Net2 user has one. You can export your Net2 users, add email addresses and import them again. Anyone who doesn't match can be paired by hand in Clearooms.

What happens if someone badges in without a booking?
You choose. Clearooms can add them to the Who Is In list, book them a free desk, or notify a nominated person that someone has arrived without a booking.

We have one entrance for several floors. Will that work?
Yes. You can map more than one Clearooms office to the same Paxton door, so people are only checked in once, even if they move between floors during the day.

What does our IT team need to set it up?
Your Net2 server must be reachable by Clearooms, with our production IP addresses allowed through your firewall. You'll also need a Net2 operator login with Supervisor or System Engineer rights, and the Clearooms API licence file installed on the Net2 server. Our team will guide your IT team through each step.

Can we report on who actually came into the office?
Yes. Because check-ins come from Paxton door entries, Clearooms records who came in and which desk they used, as well as anyone who arrived without a booking. Booked desks that nobody badged in for show up as no-shows, so you get a true picture of how each office is used, not just how it was booked.

Do you integrate with other access control systems?
Yes. Clearooms also integrates with Salto Space, where meeting room doors unlock only while a meeting is booked.
